In 2013, Lang's will again hold the largest Live Audience attended
fishing tackle and outdoor sporting auction in the world.
Starting this year, it will be an annual event.
The "Discovery" Auction will be a huge 2 day sale, including tens of thousands of antique and collectible fishing and hunting related items. Both days, the auction will take place on the in Bouckville, NY, under the permanent Pavilion.
Lang's August 9 & 10, 2012 auction will kick off an incredible 10 day multi show event in the heart of central New York's Antiques Community. The Madison-Bouckville show has grown over the past 40 years into a major event, touting many individual shows, each opening on different days, and culminating with a huge open air show August 16-18, 2013. It is estimated over 40,000 dealers, collectors and retail buyers attend this event each year.
We will also be hosting adjacent to the Discovery Auction site, which will include a wide range of high quality sporting and antiques dealers from all over the US. A selling and buying venue like no other, where collectors and dealers can meet for business or pleasure.
As the Discovery Auction will now be held just once a year, we will be packing even more quality items into this huge summer sale - expect upwards of 2,500 lots of great antique and collectible reels, rods, lures, creels, books, sporting art, ephemera, fish & duck decoys, and just about any other category of fishing or hunting you can imagine. From desirable rare items to store new usable items, this auction will have it all!

Preview Start: 9:00am both days - viewing will be allowed throughout the auction. Each day, only the items to be sold that day will be available for viewing.

The auction pavilion is next to the which offers a modern bath house with flush toilets and showers, vending machines, free WiFi, large parking area, and full service RV and tent sites with reasonable rates - even a playground! There are also a multitude of quality food vendors on the grounds and throughout the town during the show. If you decide to stay at the campgrounds or other local accommodations, please make arrangements immediately. All local motels/hotels are booked months in advance, so please do not wait.
