For this auction, if you choose to bid online, you will be using our new bidding platform - Lang's Live. This platform was designed specifically for our customers, with new features that will enhance your bidding experience, provide easier navigation, and a user friendly bid screen with more information available to you while actively bidding.

 

 To bid in this auction, you need to login and register. Even if you have bid online at a previous Lang's auction,

you will need to provide your information as if registering for the first time.

Below are screen shots of the new bid screen as you will see it on your PC. The first image shows how the bid progression will look during the live auction while a lot is being sold. If you placed an absentee bid prior to the auction, the system will implement your bid automatically as shown.

 

While you are the high bidder, there will be no Bid Button available until you have been outbid - you cannot bid against yourself.

 

"Safe Bid" technology was developed for this platform. It requires a second click to confirm your bid amount. With this bid confirmation requirement, you

will no longer need to worry about either placing a bid by mistake or bidding an amount over what you are willing to pay.

For touch screen users, the series of images below show the new "Slide to Bid" bar. This "Safe Bid" feature is available on mobile devices.

Telephone:

 

Simply mail/fax a completed Absentee Bid Form or call our auction manager no later than 3 days prior to the auction to reserve a phone representative. Once confirmed, we will reserve a phone line specifically for your needs, be it one lot or hundreds. On auction day we will call you 5-10 lots before your item of interest. Your representative will bid on your behalf as if you were raising the paddle yourself. At each increment you will confirm your bid, your card will be raised and so forth - it's that easy!

 

Please do not wait until the day of the auction if you want to bid by phone - if a phone has not been reserved in advanced, we may not be able to accommodate your request.

 

 

Absentee:

 

Absentee bidding is offered in-house through Lang's. "+1 bidding" is an option with this method of bidding. Simply fill out the Absentee Bid Form and mail, fax or email it to us. Once received we will call to confirm your bid intentions. You also have the option of submitting your bids via email. Download our secure eMailable Absentee Bid Form, complete the form, save and email to Christina@LangsAuction.com.

MAX+ 1 Absentee Bidding:

 

When filling out your Absentee Bid Form you will need to indicate whether you would like the +1 bid feature. Absentee bids are executed on your behalf by our trained staff in competition with bids from other bidders. In the event two identical absentee bids are received, the first bid submitted will be accepted. In the event your maximum bid ties with a phone, absentee or online bid, +1 bidding allows us to bid one increment higher on your behalf to break the tie in your favor. If you want to take advantage of this type of bidding make sure to indicate +1 on your completed absentee bid form.

 

*Please note, your signed and completed Phone & Absentee Bid Form needs to be received several days prior to the auction.

Payment Methods:

 

Paypal, all major credit cards, personal checks, money orders, travelers checks, cashier checks and bank wire transfers accepted.

 

 

Buyer's Premium:

 

A 21% buyer’s premium will be added to all successful bids.

 

 

Bid Increments:

 

The standard bid increments we follow are:

 

$0 - $200 = $10

$201 - $500 = $25

$501 - $1,000 = $50

$1,000 - $5,000 = $100

$5,001 - $10,000 = $250

$10,001 - $20,000 = $500

$20,001 - $50,000 = $1,000

$50,000 - $75,000 = $2,500

$75,001 - $100,000 = $5,000

$100,001 + = $10,000

 

 

Sales Tax:

 

NY State Sales Tax will be paid by all New York residents and buyers picking up their purchases in New York State unless the buyer possesses a valid Resale Tax ID number and has provided a signed resale tax form to Lang's prior to the auction.

 

 

Post Auction:

 

A combined invoice for purchases made during both sessions will be emailed to successful buyers following the completion of the auction on Sunday night. The invoice includes full payment instructions and a Paypal link for your convenience. If you believe you were a successful online buyer but did not receive your invoice, please call 315-750-1700 or email: Christina@LangsAuction.com.

 

In the event a buyer does not have an email address on file, we will mail a printed invoice.

 

 

Shipping:

 

Combined shipping of your purchases is provided by Lang’s. Shipping costs are calculated on a percentage basis and are included in your invoice total for the added convenience of one payment. All packages are sent with full insurance, delivery confirmation on USPS Priority Mail boxes and tracking numbers for those sent via UPS. Your patience is appreciated while we professionally package your important purchases. Packages are mailed in the order in which your payment is received. Lang’s will be providing FREE pick-ups in Bouckville, NY approximately 3 weeks following the auction. Pick up requests must be made in advance.
